Adam Hommey is a solopreneur who brings a wealth of experience in internet marketing, harnessing common technology, online research, website design and management, and positive contrarian thinking to your table. He has conducted extensive research on internet marketing, business communications, the use of office technology to simplify day-to-day processes, and best practices in solopreneurship.

Adam’s unique outlook on business and the world is informed by his background. With several years of experience in internet marketing, training, community relations, and marketing, he founded Assess Communicate in 2003 with the goal of helping self-employed training and development consultants, small business owners, and internet marketers emancipate the power of information using their common technology.

He is at his best when acting as a sounding board, listening to the ideas of others with an “outsider” and sometimes contrarian view as the business partner, enabling fellow solopreneurs to see the full picture that they need to maximize their potential.

Priding himself on the ability to say what needs said, and to proffer solutions for every challenge he encounters, Adam embraces both his strengths and his weaknesses, applying lessons from both to provide a realistic view of his surroundings.

Even outside his business, Adam is emancipating the power of information. He currently serves as Vice-President, Communications for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD Pittsburgh) and strategizes with professional organizations on the use of technology to enhance their member benefits and use their technology to streamline internal and external processes.

Adam Hommey is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in History and Middle East Studies. He received his MBA from Duquesne University with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
